2016 New Hope NEXTY Award Finalist
RADIUS Has Been Nominated for a New Hope NEXTY Award
Kutztown, PA – Since 2011, the editors at New Hope Media have been highlighting the most innovative and revolutionary products in the Natural Products Industry. Their annual NEXTY Award recognizes these inspiring products and companies who are paving the way for natural products. RADIUS’ new, one-of-a-kind USDA Organic Toothpaste is one of only three finalists to have been selected from a pool of 500+ applicants to be nominated for this year’s Best New Beauty Product award.
RADIUS is stepping into a new market by launching the first and only USDA certified organic toothpaste on the market today. Continually striving to be better by design, RADIUS’ new organic toothpastes utilise a unique formulation of organic coconut oil and salt to offer a completely natural, clean and fresh brushing experience without any harmful chemicals or foaming agents.
“We are thrilled to have finally been able to accomplish this feat! We have been working towards this goal for more than 5 years in hopes of bringing our existing and new customers a truly organic and safe toothpaste that works and tastes delicious! As the premium toothbrush brand in Natural*, we knew that complementing our toothbrush brand with a unique, premium, organic toothpaste was the only way to enter the toothpaste category properly and we are excited for the adventure to come,” CEO and President, Saskia Foley said.
The NEXTY Awards will be awarded on Saturday March 12, 2016 at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. The field of products has been whittled down to three finalists in each of the 19 categories and will be judged by a panel of industry experts who will choose the winners. The 20th category, the coveted Editor’s Choice Award, will be determined after New Hope editors walk the trade-show floor and collectively choose a winner.
RADIUS’ USDA Organic Toothpaste will be competing against two other products in the Best New Beauty Product category and will be judged on the following criteria:
Innovation: The product or company shows truly creative thinking and execution (not a “me too” approach); uses a newly discovered or rediscovered ingredient, flavour profile, technique or process; fills a legitimate (though perhaps not yet recognised) natural products market need or niche; and/or is predicted to have longer-term impact in the industry.
Inspiration: The product or company adheres to an unusual or new mission targeting an issue or problem not yet widely addressed; its message/mission is clearly communicated, focused and effective, with real, wide-reaching potential or already proven positive social or environmental impact.
Integrity: The product or company takes a creative, next-gen approach to clean ingredient(s), sustainability, transparency, traceability and safety/security.
